Creative Entrepreneur · Multidisciplinary Art Curator · Jewellery & Textile Craft Practitioner
Monika Wang is the founder and creative director of O&E Art Craft Studio, a multidisciplinary creative space in the heart of Glasgow. With an interdisciplinary academic background spanning finance, business and media studies, she brings a distinctive perspective to contemporary creative entrepreneurship, combining artistic vision with strategic thinking and community engagement.
As the creative force behind O&E, Monika oversees the studio’s artistic direction, workshop development, artist collaborations and brand strategy. Her work focuses on transforming traditional craft practices into contemporary, accessible and engaging creative experiences, connecting independent artists with wider audiences.
Her personal creative interests span crystal jewellery, wire wrapping, crochet, textile crafts and mindful making. Drawing inspiration from the relationship between natural materials, emotional expression and personal wellbeing, she explores how hands-on creativity can encourage reflection, connection and self-expression.
Beyond individual workshops, Monika develops multidisciplinary art programmes, bespoke private experiences, community collaborations and creative wellbeing initiatives. She is particularly passionate about creating welcoming artistic environments where beginners, families and experienced makers can discover new skills and explore their creativity without boundaries.
Through O&E Art Craft Studio, Monika continues to develop a creative platform that brings together contemporary art, craftsmanship, education and community, with the ambition of making meaningful artistic experiences an accessible part of everyday life.
